10 FACTS ABOUT ME:
Book Description: Two misfits. One extraordinary love. Eleanor... Red hair, wrong clothes. Standing behind him until he turns his head. Lying beside him until he wakes up. Making everyone else seem drabber and flatter and never good enough...Eleanor. Park... He knows she'll love a song before he plays it for her. He laughs at her jokes before she ever gets to the punch line. There's a place on his chest, just below his throat, that makes her want to keep promises...Park. Set over the course of one school year, this is the story of two star-crossed sixteen-year-olds—smart enough to know that first love almost never lasts, but brave and desperate enough to try. my thoughts: Well to start off, this is one of the best books that I read in 2014! Rowell does an amazing job of creating the characters so that they feel relatable and realistic. The story of these two young lovers leaves you feeling emotional and happy with an unpredictable ending Geez! It has been so long since I have worked on my blog! I have been really busy with sports and school work and have fallen wayyy behind on here! But I have decided to have another go at it and plan for more reviews coming out soon!

Thanks Again! -Kristen Book Description (Good Reads):Ahmad Dawson vowed to never give his heart to another woman when he tragically lost the love of his life. Will he learn to let go of his painful past to love again? Or is his happily ever after gone forever? A new, hot and upcoming magazine editor, Whitney O’Neal, knew that Ahmad was her soul mate the moment she met him. As she begins to develop feelings for him, she realizes that Ahmad has more baggage than she bargained for. Could this be love at first publication? Or could it flop like a bad tabloid? Ahmad’s new trainer, Paris, is the perfect employee…a bit too perfect. Once he hires her, many strange events begin to happen that makes him question who she really is. After all that has happened in his life, can love be reborn? My Thoughts: I absolutely loved this book! This book is the perfect story of love, tragedy, and second chances along with the mix of Angels. Combining serious topics with classic humor, Love Reborn is a great summer read that I would recommend to anybody! And one of the most important things to me in a book, the spelling in grammar was spot on. The characters were lovable and interesting and kept you engaged in the story. This book was amazing and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Victoria Bright's website: http://author-victoria-bright.blogspot.com/ Plot: (Amazon Description)A mysterious island.
An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs. It all waits to be discovered in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, an unforgettable novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive. A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My thoughts: Overall, I really liked this book. I loved the mix of antique photos and an interesting plot that kept you interested in the story. The second book in the series recently came out (Hollow City) and I just got it and I am so excited to read it. They have also recently released the cast for the movie! I would recommend this book to fiction and YA lovers. Check out the authors website below: http://www.ransomriggs.com/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thanks for reading! Check out my other reviews and let me know if you have a book or blog you want me to check out! I just finished this book by John A. Heldt, and I can honestly saw that I really enjoyed it. The mine is a YA book written around the story of college student Joel Smith. The book is also part of a series (The Northwest Passage) which currently has 5 books. Basic Plot: While on a trip to Yellowstone days before graduation, Joel enters an abandoned mine and emerges in 1941. Quickly realizing that he has no way to return to the present, Joel restarts his life; when an opportunity comes for him to return to his old life, Joel must make a decision on how to pursue the rest of his life. My thoughts: Overall, I really enjoyed this book; even despite Joel's arrogance, he was a really likable character. I loved the writing style of the book and I always love books that are set in the early 1900's. I am excited to read the rest of the series and hope that they are as good as the first book! I would recommend this book to anybody who likes fiction and si-fi books! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~Thanks for reading!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Check out John A. Heldt's website: http://johnheldt.blogspot.com/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And at last I have finished the second book in the amazing Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout! This book was no disappointment to the fist book in the Lux series Obsidian. This book takes you deeper into the crazy and mysterious lives of Katy, Daemon, and Dee. This book is both hysterical and serious and defiantly makes you fall in love with the comical and arrogant Daemon. One of my favorite quotes from this book that I think remains true with every paranormal romance book ever written, "I think I have a new book boyfriend. Yumtastic." I absolutely loved this book and am soooooooo excited to read the rest of the series! Not to mention that the 5th book will be coming our this August! Basic Plot: This book goes deeper into all of the effects of Daemon healing Katy and the full extension of the DOD's knowledge of the Luxen. Also with a not-so-surprising twist, you learn more into the disappearance of Daemon and Dee's brother, Dawson, and his human girlfriend who disappeared more than a year before Katy arrived in town. My thoughts: Overall, I loved this book and am almost ready to just go and marry Daemon. I loved how the author tied more of the Luxen's abilities into this book and more of the DOD instead of just the Arum. I am so excited to read the rest of the series and the rest of Jennifer L. Armentrout's books! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I hope you liked this review! Please check out my other reviews below including my review of the first book in the Lux series, Obsidian! E-mail me of submit a form with questions or if you want me to check your blog or review one of your books! Stolen by Lucy Christopher is the story of a teenage girl named Gemma who is kidnapped in an airport while in vacation with her family in Bangkok. Basic Plot: Gemma was getting coffee in the airport when tan, gorgeous Ty came up and paid for it. Ty, while putting sugar in her coffee, drugged her and then took her to the middle of the Australian outback to a house that he had built for them to live in together forever. My Thoughts: Overall, I really enjoyed this book. This book was written to around the idea of Stockholm syndrome, where a hostage grows attachment or fondness to their captor, and I think it does a great job of explaining more into the disease. Although the way this book was written, almost drove me to insanity! The book was not written in chapters! Instead it was written in one, long chapter start to finish. I would recommend this book to young, fiction readers, but I would not call it YA. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Check out Lucy Christopher's website: http://www.lucychristopher.com/ I just finished reading Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout and loved it. Basic Plot: A teenage girl named Katy, conveniently a book blogger, moves from Florida to West Virginia right before her senior year; but everything starts to look up when she spots her neighbor, Daemon, a gorgeous teenager and his twin sister Dee. My thoughts: Well, when my friends told me about this book I thought that it sounded basically like every other paranormal romance book ever but instead it turned out to be one of my favorite YA books. Daemon, is a very confusing character because I couldn't decide whether I liked him or hated him. (He has some serious Katy Perry syndrome) This book was really funny and interesting. This book was also different from most other paranormal romance books because it wasn't angles or vampires. I would recommend this book to everybody who loves YA or paranormal romance books. I am excited to read the rest of the serious. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jennifer L.
